Frank & I (Brenda) both enjoy the company of our beloved dogs; Danes which have been a part of our lives for over 20 years/Borzoi 11 years. We established the “Oklahoma Great Dane Roundup” with the tradition being carried on for years as a fun/educational event for all. Due to personal time constraints we unfortunately no longer have it. Both of us have been active in every aspect of promoting, protecting, and enhancing the breed’s welfare in the community. Locally, we’ve been involved in AKC/UKC/Int'l & IABCA Conformation, Obedience Classes; Owner Handling/Showing; Rescue; Public Education Projects; Ring Stewarding/Judging; Conformation Trainers; National Specialties; Handling/Conformation Classes; Fund Raising and caring for our Danes & Borzoi. All of our dogs have since passed and the house truly was empty without the love of a dog. Enters one of the coolest breeds ever, the Silken Windhound, which we have had now for 4 years! A fun and delightful breed to live with! In July 2023 we hosted the first ever Silken Windhound Speciality in conjunction with one of the largest AKC Dog show events held right here in Oklahoma City! The turnout for these special little dogs was phenomenal, the praise from the AKC community astounding!

Oklahoma has the third largest number of tribes of any state. A total of 67 tribal nations have called Oklahoma home, creating a captivating blend of cultures. While many of those tribes were relocated to Oklahoma in the 19th century, the state's rich American Indian history extends back in time 30,000 years.
